The complete pregnancy and postnatal service for you and your family to help you feel supported and reassured as your prepare for, and enter, parenthood!

£2500

What is included?

Complete continuity of care from your third trimester through the first six weeks with your baby.

Imagine having one midwife who knows you, your wishes and your family, with you from the final weeks of pregnancy through birth preparation and into those precious, demanding first weeks of parenthood. Dreamy!!

This package brings together our antenatal and postnatal care into one seamless journey, so you never have to start again with someone new, repeat your story, or feel alone with your questions.

Maternity services are working incredibly hard, but they are under real pressure and birth planning discussions within routine antenatal care may be as short as 20 minutes!! After birth, NHS families typically receive around three postnatal visits, sometimes at a local clinic, before being discharged by around day 10-14, and are often left feeling overwhelmed and anxious.

This package is designed to complement your NHS or private maternity care and to fill those gaps with the time, continuity and personalised support every family deserves.

Over nine home visits of around two hours each (three in pregnancy and six after birth), plus WhatsApp support between every appointment, you'll have an experienced midwife in your corner from start to finish, and partners are warmly welcomed and actively encouraged to be part of every visit as well.

Why continuity of care matters
Seeing the same midwife throughout pregnancy and the postnatal period means we'll already know your birth preferences, your feeding plans, your worries and your hopes before your baby arrives. After the birth, we can pick up exactly where we left off, talk through your birth experience with real understanding, and notice early if something doesn't feel right, whether that's with feeding, your recovery or how you're feeling emotionally, and support you through it in the most appropriate way.

Research has repeatedly shown that continuity of care from a trusted professional can help reduce the effects of low mood, anxiety and overwhelm in the postnatal period, so having someone who knows you and your family can make you feel truly supported and less alone. If you ever need additional support, we'll help you access the right services quickly.

Your pregnancy visits (from 28 weeks)

Visit 1 --> Hypnobirthing
You'll learn practical, evidence-informed hypnobirthing techniques, including breathing for each stage of labour, deep relaxation, visualisation and positive affirmations, so they feel natural by the time you need them. Your birth partner will learn exactly how to support you and advocate for you when it matters most. These tools work for every kind of birth, whether at home, in hospital, in water, through induction or by caesarean, helping you stay grounded and look back on your birth feeling positive and in control.

Visit 2 --> Your birth preferences
This visit gives you the time and space that busy services often can't. We'll go through your options in detail, including where to give birth, pain relief, induction, monitoring, assisted birth, caesarean birth and the moments after your baby arrives, so you understand the benefits and risks of each. Together, we'll create clear, personalised birth preferences to share with your care team, and you'll learn how to ask the right questions and make informed decisions in the moment, so you feel listened to and respected, whatever path your birth takes.

Visit 3 --> Preparing to feed your baby (at 36–37 weeks)
Timed in line with NICE guidance on when to begin antenatal hand expressing, this visit covers everything you need to know to get off to the best start, whether you plan to breastfeed, bottle feed or combine the two. This includes how to hand express and store colostrum, what early feeding looks like in the first days, and the signs that feeding is going well.

Your postnatal visits (first six weeks)

After your baby arrives, you'll have six postnatal home visits, usually two in the first week, when support matters most, with the rest arranged as often as you need them throughout the first six weeks. At around two hours each, these visits are significantly longer than NHS postnatal checks, so nothing has to be rushed and there's time to really be heard.

Adjusting to parenthood
Time to talk openly about how you're feeling, your physical recovery, rest and nutrition, managing visitors and finding a rhythm that works for your family.

Infant feeding support
We'll observe feeds (with your consent), help with positioning and attachment, and work through common challenges such as sore nipples, latching difficulties, engorgement, milk supply worries and unsettled feeds before they become overwhelming. As an Advanced Tongue Tie Practitioner, Emily can also assess your baby's oral function if feeding isn't going smoothly, so any underlying issues are identified early.

Caring for your baby
Practical, hands-on guidance with swaddling, safe sleep, bathing, cord care, settling and soothing, understanding your baby's cues, and knowing what's normal and when to seek advice.

Weight checks for peace of mind
Because I'll be visiting regularly, I can weigh your baby as often as needed, giving you clear, reliable reassurance that your baby is feeding well and growing as they should. Any concerns can be spotted and addressed early.

WhatsApp support throughout
From your first pregnancy visit to your final postnatal appointment, you'll have WhatsApp access to your wonderful Midwife between every visit. Whether it's a question about your pregnancy, your birth preferences, feeding, your baby's sleep or how you're feeling, you can get your non-urgent questions answered by someone who already knows you. Messages are answered Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, usually within one working day and are for non-urgent questions only.

In pregnancy, if you have concerns such as reduced movements, bleeding, severe pain or signs of labour, please contact your maternity unit or labour ward straight away. After birth, if you're worried about your own health or your baby's, such as heavy bleeding, fever, feeling very unwell, or a baby who is unusually sleepy, not feeding, has a high temperature or seems unwell, please contact your GP, NHS 111 or your maternity unit. In an emergency, Please don't hesitate to call 999.

An investment in your whole family
This package is about more than appointments and advice - It's about walking alongside you through one of the most significant times of your life, so you feel prepared, confident and cared for at every stage.

The support you receive in pregnancy and the early weeks lays the foundations for your birth experience, feeding, recovery, bonding and family wellbeing for months and years to come!

Need a little more support?
Every family is different and have differing needs, so if you'd like extra visits during pregnancy or after birth, additional appointments can be added to your package for an additional fee.
